How To Use Blogger

Hello world! I can now say that the monkey is finally off my back! But I tell you that it was not easy to write my first blog post as it took me almost 2 months to convince myself to write it. I learned from one of Jomar Hilario’s interviews that the number one obstacle in internet marketing is inaction because there is no boss to push you to do things. This is also true on being trained as a VA. Since there is no one who is forcing you to complete your assignments, then there is a tendency to become sluggish. Old habits will also linger for quite a while so you have to have the discipline to do your tasks consistently so that you will form new habits, and that will be positive habits that will drive you to succeed.

I’m also lucky that I got a teacher and I should say mentor, who never fails to remind me through his daily emails and is actually responding to my questions and queries! He’s a very busy man I suppose but as a mentor, he takes time to attend to the needs of his students and makes sure that we are doing the right things.

So, I have finished 1 of my 10 assignments and this is to create a tutorial of tools and software that are being popularly used today by Virtual Assistants, Online Marketers, Social Networkers, etc. Here it is and I’m very excited to share How to Use Blogger to you! Blogger by the way is a tool where you can express your passion, hobbies, or simply share your thoughts, what’s going on with your life, or any topic under the sun then tell it to the world.

Here now is the How to Use Blogger tutorial:

I hope this tutorial will give you confidence to start blogging and will help you in any way it can.

Now, live a worry-free life,

Marco

Pinoy Online Work at Home: The Journey Starts Now

Pinoy Online Work at Home

Hi, my name is Marco and I want to share with you how I will live my dreams by being an Online Virtual Assistant part-time.

This is my first time to blog and I'm feeling quite uneasy because I'm actually telling my story to everybody out there. This is not like FB that friends I usually know will read and comment on what I will post. This time, it will be anybody out there who's completely a stranger to me that will either give a negative or a positive comment. But at the same time I'm also very excited as I want you to follow me on my journey towards financial freedom while working at home.

And most of all, I want to become an inspiration to all those who want to someday live their dreams. But first and foremost, let me go back to the real world...

I'm telling you right now that this will NOT be an easy way to the top. There will be lots of obstacles and challenges and we have to be prepared. In fact, I've started my journey last Sept. 15, 2012 when I attended Mr. Jomar Hilario's VA Seminar and until now I still have not completed a single assignment that was given.

So my very first tip (or I should say obstacle) is: DO NOT PROCRASTINATE.

Procrastination refers to the act of replacing high-priority actions with tasks of lower priority, or doing something from which one derives enjoyment, and thus putting off important tasks to a later time. (Wikipedia)

Having said that, I will now promise to continue to do all my assignments and I will post it here in my blog, not just for the sake of submitting it, but to inspire you to learn new things and to give you an idea of what it is like to become a successful VA. Until my next post!
